The Care Home

The Heathers Residential Care Home Bromley

Home of Residential Care with EMI

The Care Home is situated in a pleasant, tree-lined residential road in Shortlands Village, Bromley. The property retains the outward appearance of a normal family home, to maintain discretion, the character of the area and blend in with local surroundings.

All rooms are centrally heated and equipped with a wash hand basin, a television point and an emergency nurse-call system. Some rooms have en-suite facilities. Most rooms have private telephone points.

Inside the Home is a warm, welcoming and comfortable environment.
Many of the team have been with The Heathers for a good number of years and this consistency helps to create a friendly, caring and understanding atmosphere.

The Heathers is not a nursing home, but our caring staff are on duty at all times to provide the very best support we can. Individual care plans are created and regularly reviewed to ensure the best possible quality of life is offered.

We are keen for residents to lead normal, homely lives and retain as much of their independence as possible. Within the care home, the individual’s rights to privacy, choice and dignity are respected at all times.

Location and transport links

Bromley Town Centre is also within easy reach of the home and a selection of useful shops and amenities in the village, is only a short walk away.

Transport

The area is well served by public transport: the 354 bus service runs along Farnaby Road, and routes 227, 358 and X26 run nearby.

Trains to London (Victoria) and Kent are available from Shortlands station, less than10 minutes walk away.

There are also plenty of taxi companies within the local vicinity and our team can help to advise or organise any transportation needs that residents or their family and friends require.
